Project Planner: Scope Your Denver SEO & AI Search Work
Use this browser-private worksheet to sketch the questions you need to answer before starting an SEO or AI search project. Nothing you type leaves your device — there is no submit button and no data is stored. The fields are prompts to help you talk with a consultant, not a diagnostic tool.

What the worksheet helps you clarify
Google’s own guidance is a useful starting point. The SEO Starter Guide explains that SEO is about helping search engines understand your content and helping users find your site. There is no guarantee any site will be indexed, but following Search Essentials makes it more likely. Google primarily finds pages through links from other pages it has already crawled; a sitemap is not required.
For AI features in Google Search, the AI features documentation states that SEO best practices remain relevant and there are no additional requirements or special optimizations to appear. To be eligible as a supporting link in AI Overviews or AI Mode, a page must be indexed and eligible to be shown in Google Search with a snippet. No new machine-readable files or special structured data are required.
For local visibility, Google’s local ranking tips say results are mainly based on relevance, distance, and prominence. Businesses with complete and accurate Business Profile information are more likely to show up in local results. There is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking.
Your next step
Once you have filled in the fields above, you’ll have a clearer brief for a conversation. If you’d like to discuss how this applies to your specific situation, you can contact NovCog or review the methodology page to see how a typical engagement is structured. You can also read the assessment page for a source-backed look at what a real SEO assessment covers.
